Generally speaking, if you are studying at college or university within the UK, and you have medical proof of your disability or dyslexia (doctor’s note, or educational psychologist report for dyslexia) it is very likely that you will be eligible for support. There are some exceptions, so to be sure contact your Disability Officer at your place of study, or contact your LA.
You may not be funded by your LA -- your funding authority could be a
nationalised Student Finance department, a research council, or the
NHS Bursary.
